It's a Whiteout!

Sunday 23 December 2007 at 1:20 pm

Sunday Morning - less than a week before climbing to "the other side of the fence." Considering the nature of the weather on the Oregon Coast, the grass should surely be greener - wetter for sure. I think I've tied up just about all the loose ends here in Yakima before heading out. The bikes are stowed and all personal belongings which I can't take on the road in Tallulah, the Motorhome, (not much really) are also stored.

I've been thinking that at some point (months down the road, really) I'll want to bring the car back and take one of the bikes out. The scooter can go without any more efforts, as I have the mount for it and it rides on the back of the MH just fine. But seeing the Goldwing sitting there in the storage unit makes me want to consider getting a small trailer and working it up the carry that. Having either in good weather would be fine and it's just a choice.

It's snowing like crazy this morning. And although the temperature is just near 32 and the weather report is for rain later, I do hope I don't have something like this facing me when I get ready to hit the road in the next few days. As it is I'm leaving myself about three days to get to Nehalem Bay State Park in Oregon - my first hosting assignment. What happens will happen, no matter what happens.

Let it snow....  etc.
